Poetry and Spoken Word
Poetry has always been a part of who I am. It was my coping mechanism to heal my childhood trauma and taught me how to express my emotions through words. As a spoken word artist and poet, I bring my unique style, fresh perspective, and melodic delivery to various genres of voice over.
My journey with poetry has been a long one. It started when I was a kid, and over the years, I’ve honed my craft and explored new ways to incorporate poetry into my work. Through poetry, I learned vocal performance and how to use different dimensions of my voice, which has made me a better voice actor.
My 3 official music poetry videos – “My Race Is Human,” “Truth Is,” and “I Wish” – showcase my passion for poetry and spoken word. “I Wish” is a powerful spoken word poem that mixes blues and hip-hop music, offering a unique perspective on street philosophies of life. It is my first official music video as a spoken word artist and poet.
“My Race Is Human” is a dramatic and raw expression of compassion, the lack of it, and the essence of what it means to be human. It’s a gracefully disturbing spoken word music video that speaks to the heart of our common humanity. “Truth Is” is another powerful spoken word poem that explores the complexity of truth and honesty in our lives.
All my poetry videos can be found on various listening/viewing platforms, and I would greatly appreciate any likes, shares, or comments. Poetry has been a constant companion and motivator throughout my life, and I will continue to use it to connect with others and make a positive impact.

Poetry and Philosophy are my fuel. To reflect on the Why, How and Truth? To reflect within ones inner most depths of light and darkness. To stare in the mirror of love and hate and try to find peace within it. Three of my favorite philosophers are: Alan Watts, Ram Dass and Jiddu Krishnamurti. I often reflect on their messages and allow it to guide me on this journey. Life has taught me many lessons, and often times, lessons I wouldn’t have learned had it not been for the grace of suffering. I am still a student seeking to master an un-masterable game. The content below is a collection of learnings.
